Legend Cigars Event at JR Cigars Paramus

JR Cigars Paramus Legend Cigars Event
JR Cigars hosted a Legend Cigars Event at its Paramus, NJ store last night. John Starks and some of the other owners of Legends Cigars were at the event. The event was a “cut and light” format. We had samples of the John Starks #3 Signature Series Robusto 52 x 5 in both the Brazilian Maduro or the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper available for attendees to try.

JR Cigars had the Legend Cigar John Starks #3 Signature Series Event Box available for sale at the event. Customers that purchased a box had a photo opportunity with John and were able to have John Starks autograph their box – a great momento of the night.

The cigar was well received. As you can see from the photo above, a couple of attendees conducted an informal longest ash contest – with the winner taking it right down to the ring. Impressive!

If you attended the event, leave us some comments on the smoke. In the meantime, there will be another event at the Manhattan Store – Midtown Cigar 562 Fifth Avenue New York, NY on May 2 from 12 noon until 4 p.m. Come join us for a smoke.

Legend Cigars Launches John Starks #3 Signature Series Cigar
December 21st, 2012 | by Big Ash

John Starks Legends Cigar
On December 20, 2012, Legend Cigars held an event at its home court (the Stamford Cigar Lounge, 75 Research Drive, Stamford, Connecticut) to debut its newest blend – the John Starks #3 Signature Series cigar.

What a night.

The Stamford Cigar Lounge (“SCL”) was hosting its annual Christmas party that night and the place was packed.  Celebs and SCL Members ate, smoked, drank, and just all around celebrated the coming holiday season.

At around 7:30, Legend Cigars showed up with 150 boxes of the new cigars.  The boxes were filled with 10 Brazilian Maduro wrapped Toro 54 x 6 cigars from the newest Legend Cigar blend – the John Starks #3 Signature Series.  We were giving away the boxes of 10 cigars for $50 for that night.  John signed every box – many of which were destined for personalized Christmas gifts for cigar smokers.

We call this box the Event Box. We designed it to be used at Legend Cigar events where attendees can have John Starks autograph their box.  It’s in the shape of a laptop computer, with a high gloss orange and white finish.  It’s filled with 10 Toros 54 x 6s from the John Starks #3 Signature Series blend with either the Brazilian Maduro Wrapper for a rich medium-bodied smoke or the Equadorian Connecticut Wrapper for a lighter taste.

If you’re ever in the area, make the effort to stop by the Stamford Cigar Lounge.  It truly is home court for Legend Cigars.    You’ll find John there on many nights.  So stop in, light up, and enjoy a Legendary Smoke.

And finally, if you’re interested in hosting a Legend Cigars event with John Starks at your lounge, contact us at this website for arrangements.

Rocky Patel and John Starks… A New Cigar?
November 29th, 2012 | by Big Ash

Rocky Patel & John Starks
Rocky Patel and John Starks got together recently in New York.  The 2 cigar lovers hit it off well.  They enjoyed some cigars, a good discussion, and mingling with the other cigar smokers at the Cigar Inn in Manhattan.

And now for the big question – is there a Rocky Patel/John Starks cigar in our futures?

No, not at the moment.  But the two legends did enjoy their time together, so… like they say in the New York State lottery commercials, “Hey, you never know.”
